If we are unable to complete the repair, we will refund your prepayment for the repair. However, the diagnostic fee will still apply to cover our technician's time.

We do not work directly with insurance companies; however, we can assist you if you handle the insurance reimbursement process independently. Here’s how it works: You schedule your diagnostic or repair as usual, our technicians complete the service and provide a detailed invoice, and then you submit the invoice and any supporting documentation to your insurance provider. Our technicians primarily work with post-warranty appliances, but many brands offer extended warranties on key components that commonly fail. If your appliance has a manufacturer warranty covering specific parts, our technicians will inform you about the possibility of obtaining the replacement part for free under warranty. In such cases, we will order the part directly from the manufacturer at no cost to you, but you will still be responsible for paying the labor required to install it. This ensures that you receive the best possible service while taking advantage of any available manufacturer warranties.

What is your payment policy?

At Local Angels Appliance Repair, payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers for your convenience. Please note that we do not accept checks or American Express credit cards. The service fee is waived if a repair is completed; however, if no repair is made, a diagnostic fee must be paid to cover the technician's visit and appliance assessment. To proceed with repairs, we require a 50% deposit upfront, and the full cost of any necessary parts must be prepaid before ordering. Our goal is to ensure a transparent and hassle-free payment process while delivering top-quality service.

Are your technicians factory trained?

Factory training varies depending on the company. Some service providers are listed in manufacturer locators and handle warranty repairs. At Local Angels Appliance Repair, we specialize in post-warranty repairs and do not perform manufacturer-covered warranty services. However, our technicians regularly undergo training courses provided by appliance manufacturers, ensuring they stay up to date with the latest repair techniques and technologies. While we are not an authorized warranty repair provider, our technicians are factory trained and equipped to deliver expert appliance repair services.

Do you install parts provided by the customer?

Yes, we can install parts provided by the customer; however, you will be responsible for paying the labor cost. We do not take responsibility if the part is faulty or non-functional. Upon arrival, our technician will diagnose the part, and if it is an electronic component, they will test its functionality. If the part is defective or does not work properly, you will still be required to pay the technician’s service fee for the visit and diagnosis. Additionally, we do not provide any warranty on customer-supplied parts.
